Vishnu Sahay
Vishnu Sahay (22 November 1901 - 3 April 1989) was former ICS officer and cabinet secretary, who, after retirement, gave his services as governor of Nagaland and Assam.
Early life and education

Sahay has been a prestigious and long career in Indian Civil Services. Sahai was appointed twice as the Governor of Assam, whose first term was from 12 November 1960 to 13 January 1961 and the second term from 7 September 1962 to 17 April 1968. As the Governor of Assam, Sahay signed a ceasefire agreement with the Naga rebels in 1964. He was also the first Governor of Nagaland where his tenure was from 1 December 1963 to 17 April 1968.
