Großsteingrab Lindstedt

The Großsteingrab Lindstedt is a Neolithic grave at Lindstedt, a district of Gardelegen in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt. It is located 1.5 km south of Lindstedt in Seethener Winkel. The grave remained undiscovered during the 1890s and 1840s by Eduard Krause and Otto Schoetensack during the two large photographs of the great-grandchildren of Altmark by Johann Friedrich Danneil, as it was still completely covered with soil at this time. It was only released in the 1950s. The plant has so far only been included in the list of soil characteristics of Saxony-Anhalt, but has not yet been described in scientific literature. There are two large boulders and several smaller, approximately fob-sized stones. To the south there are further stones, the size of which is not noted. A determination of the exact type of trench is not possible with this description, but the installation in the Denkmalliste is led as "dolmen" and / or as possible "Urdolmen" Edit source text
