The plague of the Luftwaffe in Kiev was an insupportable award of the German Luftwaffe during the Second World War, which was donated by the General of the Flakartillery Bernhard Waber in 1941 to the members of the air district of Kiev.

The blackened plaque, made of iron, shows in its upper half the sublime imprint of the Luftwaffe in front of a sketched sky, including a landscape with the silhouette of a city (Kiews?). The lower part of the plaque, which is about 1/4 of the height, shows a semicircular, waving banner with the inscription: FOR EXT. SPECIFICATION. A coat of arms with the inscription "KIEU / 1941 / BRESLAU" on both sides of oak leaves is flanked. Below is the two-line inscription: THE COMMANDER.GENERAL.AND / COMMANDER.IM.LUFTKAU.KIEW to read. The plaque was handed over with a corresponding certificate of authenticity in the format DIN A4. Single-level Edit source text
