Rudolf II of Eu

Rudolf II of Eu (Raoul, * around 1200; † September 1246) was Count of Eu and Lord of Issoudun of Lusignan.

He was the eldest son of Rudolf I of Issoudun and his wife Alice of Eu. On his father's side he was a nephew of Hugo IX. of Lusignan, Count of La Marche. After the death of his father, he inherited the reign of Issoudun and the county of Eu, from the right of his mother.

He was married to Joan of Burgundy (* 1200; † 1223) in 1222, the daughter of Duke Odo III. With her he had a daughter, Maria. After Johanna died in 1223, he married Jolanda of Dreux in the second marriage (* 1196; † 1239). After his death, he married Philippa of Dammartin († 1278/81), daughter of Simon von Dammartin, Count of Aumale, Ponthieu and Montreuil, in his third marriage. The latter two marriages remained childless.

He died in 1246 and was buried in the monastery of Foucarmont. He inherited his only daughter, Mary († 1260), who married Alfons de Brienne about 1249.
