Day Strpić

Dag Strpić (* 30 April 1946 in Zagreb, † October 6, 2013 in Vukova Gorica, municipality of Netretić, Croatia) was a Croatian political scientist. Edit LifeQualtext

From 1965 to 1971 he studied Political Science at the University of Zagreb. Afterwards, he was an assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Zagreb, where he published a work on product production and associative work in Marx's Critique of Political Economy. From 1999 he was an extraordinary professor, from 2005 onwards professor. He was mainly concerned with the subject of Political Economy.

He was also a member of the staff of various newspapers and magazines, including the editor-in-chief of the Studentski List (Studentisches Blatt) in 1970 and editor-in-chief of the magazine Naše teme (our topics) In his last years of life he wrote a weekly column for the newspaper Novi list.

From 1969 to 1970 he was president of the Savez studenata Hrvatske (Association of Students of Croatia). In 1990, he was chairman of the local party of the SKH-SDP party for several months.
