Taladas

Taladas is a continent located in the northern hemisphere of the fictional world of Krynn, Dragonlance saga. Located northeast of the continent of Ansalon, it is a land mass of approximately circular shape with two large islands in its eastern portion: Northern Hosk and Southern Hosk. The physiognomy of Taladas was profoundly altered by the same Cataclysm that ravaged Ansalon; however, instead of receiving a rain of fire, it suffered the impact of a single great meteorite that rendered the eastern third of the continent uninhabitable, ruined the nascent Empire of Aurim and created a sea of ​​lava at its center. Most of the remaining civilization is concentrated in Southern Hosk. In Taladas they inhabit many of the races of Ansalon, but their cultures are remarkably different. The most significant nation of Taladas is the League of Minotaurs.

Unlike Ansalon, Taladas has not been practically dealt with in novels and game modules. His first trilogy, Chronicles of Taladas, began to be published (English version) in April of 2005, with its first volume: Blades of the Tiger of Chris Pierson.
