Yasuko Hashimoto

Yasuko Hashimoto (Hashimoto Yasuko, born August 12, 1975 in Motomiya) is a Japanese long-distance runner who became famous in Germany for her victory at the Berlin Marathon in 2003.

Her further success over this distance was achieved at the Nagoya Marathon: a fifth place in 2003, a fourth place in 2005 (in her personal best time of 2:25:21), a sixth place in 2006 and finally a victory in 2007 in 2: 28:49. In 2003 and 2004 she won the Kagawa-Marugame half marathon.

In the marathon of the 2007 World Athletics Championships in Osaka, she finished 23rd place. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
