Vapor Toltén

The steam Toltén was a steam-wheel and iron hull built in French shipyards arrived at Valparaiso under the command of Leoncio Señoret who was then given to Juan José Latorre.

During the Pacific War was used by the Chilean Navy, equipped with 4 guns and used as transport troops.

It was delivered to private individuals in lease in 1894 and in 1896 publicly auctioned the Chilean Company of Tugboats, disarmed and left as a pontoon. His alienation was authorized by law No. 358 of June 9, 1896.

On August 14, 1900, it sank after being hit by the boring Julia during a storm. Bibliography
