Gunnar Setterwall

Carl Gunnar Emanuel Setterwall (born August 18, 1881 in Stockholm, Sweden, February 26, 1928) was a Swedish tennis player

Setterwall participated in the 1908 Olympic Games in London and in Stockholm in 1912. In 1908 he won the bronze medal in the double competition (Hall) alongside Wollmar Boström. In 1912 he won the silver medal in the same discipline, this time with Carl Kempe. In the mixed double, he also won silver on grass together with Sigrid Fick. In the final, they only had to beat the two German players Dora Köring and Heinrich Schomburgk. Together with Fick, he won the bronze medal in the double in the hall. Setterwall also appeared singly in the hall, but he left the group in the second round; on grass he reached the quarter-finals. Weblink Edit source text
