Dual-circuit system

The term "two-way system" in business administration teaches the strict separation between external accounting and internal accounting within companies.

This separation is due to the different groups to which the two accounts are based and the resulting different demands. The former serves as an information tool for groups outside the company (eg stakeholders, the finance department), the latter only serving internal purposes, above all for optimization, and is free of form. The two-loop system is traditionally common in the German-speaking world and is thus found, for example, Eg in the Anglo-Saxon area.
