Christoph Strauss (also: Christoph Straus, * c. 1675) was an Austrian composer, conductor and organist of the late renaissance and the early baroque.

Christoph Strauss became cantor in St. Michael in Vienna in 1601 and chamber organist with Archduke Matthias. In the year 1617 he was appointed court court master. From 1619 to 1626, Strauss was a Kapellmeister at the St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna.

His sacred compositions include polyphonic and multi-choral fairs, including a requiem for choir. Although his composition was quite old-fashioned for his time, his works show that Strauss was also known for the latest Italian works.
