Uralbomber

In the time of National Socialism, Uralbomber described a remote bomber, who could penetrate deep into hostile territory ("to the Urals") thanks to its great range

The term was used for two four-engine aircraft types:

A further development contract seems to have gone to the Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (in the audited annual accounts 1937 appeared an amount for the construction of a dummy). The designation Bf 165 has been given by the RLM. Edit source text Single-level Edit source text
