Prospero Lopez Buchardo




Próspero López Buchardo (born July 2, 1883 in Buenos Aires, March 8, 1964) was an Argentine composer and painter.

Buchardo is the younger brother of Carlos López Buchardo. He first studied law, from 1904 to 1913 he traveled to Europe, where he visited Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, France and Italy. He studied painting in Paris and formed largely autodidactically as a cellist. He then worked as a cellist and composer in Buenos Aires.

He wrote several symphonic and stage works, a string and a saxophone quartet, songs, ballet music and piano pieces. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
