Peter Hölz


Peter Karl Hölz ​​was Oberstadtdirektor of the cities of Solingen and Düsseldorf.

Peter Hölz ​​studied law and completed his doctorate. From 1966 to 1977 he was the first deputy and town chamberlain of the town of Mettmann. In 1977 he moved to the free city of Solingen, where he was also a chamberlain until 1981. From 1981 on he was Oberstadtdirektor in Solingen, before 1991 as a city director after Düsseldorf changed. In 1993 he became the last Oberstadtdirektor of Düsseldorf until this office was abolished in 1999.

Hölz ​​is the bearer of the First Class Federal Cross and the "Order of the Sacred Treasury on the Collar, Golden Rays" of the Government of the Imperial Kingdom of Japan.
