Pola Roy (* October 18, 1975 in Karlsruhe, real name Sebastian Roy) is a German musician, member of the pop rock band Wir sind Helden. Biography

Pola Roy was born in the Rüppurr district of Karlsruhe and studied music in Ettlingen. At first he wanted to learn to play the bagpipe, but changed his p to the battery when his father gave him one. From 1991 to 1994 he played alongside classmates in a musical group called Lunatics.

Nowadays, it is the drummer of the band Wir sind Helden, with whose main singer Judith Holofernes married on 17 July 2006. In December of the same year the couple had a son, Friedrich.
