Bembé

The Bembé is a festival of the Orisha religion, in Yoruba mythology. It was historically a religious festival of the African ethnic groups, which preserved their families settled in the peripheries of the bateyes of the mills, cane colonies and coffee farms in Cuba, making their bohios with the authorization of the owners.

In this space they interacted with other ethnic groups such as the Canaries, in the economic activities, in the neighborhood, establishing types of cooperation and neighborhood help, in games and popular parties. Bibliography
