Angrod


Angrod is a character in John Ronald Reuel Tolkien's The Silmarillion, which belongs to the Royal Household of the Noldor. History

Prince of Noldor, third son of Finarfin. He did not stay in Valinor with his father but followed his brother Finrod to Middle-earth because he was sworn in with FĂ«anor against Melkor. Vasallo of Finrod guarded, along with his brother Aegnor, the north slopes of Dorthonion.

Of all the Noldor Angrod was the friend and respected by the Sindar, especially by Thingol, so much that he was always well received in Menegroth and dared to tell him the reason for the flight of Valinor and the Curse of Mandos. It fell on the Dagor Bragollach, Tolkien did not specify whether burned by fire or killed by orcs. Meaning
