Juan Claros Alonso Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno

Juan Claros Alonso Pérez de Guzmán el Bueno (Sanlúcar de Barrameda, 19 of March of 1642 - Madrid, 17 of December of 1713), XI Duke of Medina Sidonia and great of Spain, was a Spanish noble pertaining to the house of Medina Sidonia. Son of Gaspar Alonso Perez de Guzman, IX Duke of Medina Sidonia, and Juana Fernandez de Cordoba and Enríquez de Ribera, he held the titles of I Marquis de Valverde, XVI Count of Niebla, XI Duke of Medina Sidonia and IX Marquis de Cazaza in Africa. During the reign of Charles II was Viceroy of Catalonia between 1690 and 1693, advisor of state since 1699, his last major Mayordomo in that year and then, when Felipe V reached the throne, he was replaced by the Marquis de Villafranca and made him a Major Horse.
