International Prize of Historical Novel City of Zaragoza

The International Prize for Historical Novel City of Zaragoza is a literary award awarded by the Zaragoza city council that annually awards the best historical novel published in Spain. The first edition was held in 2005 and participation is open to all writers, whatever their nationality.

The jury is made up of representatives from the world of culture: writers, historians, publishers and booksellers. The economic endowment is 30,000 euros.

In 2006, the consistory established the Honor Awards with which it is intended to recognize the literary work of the selected authors. Winners Honorary awards
