Black Forest Club

The Black Forest Club (German: Schwarzwaldverein) is a hiking club in the Black Forest region of southern Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was founded on June 8, 1864 by seven innkeepers in Freiburg under the name of the Badens Club of Industrialists and Hosteleros (Badischer Verein von Industriellen und Gastwirten) and renamed the Badischer Schwarzwaldverein in 1867 and the Württembergischer Schwarzwaldverein was founded in Stuttgart in 1884.
