Tamara Skliutovskaya

Tamara Skliutovskaya is a musicologist and Russian pianist.

She graduated from the State Conservatory of Tashkent (Uzbekistan, 1972). In 1982 she completed postgraduate studies at the State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema of St. Petersburg (Russia) and obtained the title of Doctor (Ph.D.) in Music Sciences. He has written and published in the Soviet Union more than 70 books and articles on the development of musical art and its genres (Concert, Chamber Music, Musical Theater) and also on problems of musical education. He has participated in several national and international conferences and forums.

His work experience includes more than 35 years of work in the Conservatories and Centers of Higher Education of the Soviet Union, and since 1996 at the National University and the Institute of Arts of Costa Rica, where he has been living since 1994.
