Piotr Waśko




Piotr Waśko (born 22 February 1961 in Czarnków) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska (Citizens Platform). Edit LifeQualtext

From 1983 to 1990, Piotr Waśko was the director of the cultural center of Rosko, a village of the municipality of Wieleń. From 1989 to 1994 he studied cultural studies at the Adam-Mickiewicz-University of Poznań and graduated with a diploma. From 1990 to 1994, he was head of the Department of Infrastructure in the city administration of Wieleń. Between 1994 and 1996 Waśko was deputy, from 1996 to 2002 mayor of the city and rural community Wieleń. From 1998 to 1999 he studied administration at the University of Economics (Poznaniu) and from 2000 to 2001 at Warsaw University of Economics and Business Administration. He was Director of Education and Science from 2003 to 2006 in the Marschallamt der Wojwonschaft Großpolen. From 2006, Piotr Waśko sat in the Sejmik Council of the Voivodship. In the earlier parliamentary elections in 2007, Waśko won a mandate (politics) for the Sejm with 6,260 votes in the 38 Piła constituency.
