The phaeton is a four-wheel carriage that can be covered at will with a hood. It has circular seat in the front and box for another rear seat. To enter it you have to pass over a wheel serving as stirrup the hub of it. Other times, stirrups are placed by reducing the diameter of the wheels. It also has a rear seat for the servants with stirrups between the wheels and the box. Types of Phaeton
