Peaceful Civil Resistance

Civil Peace Resistance is the name of the social movement and the set of actions carried out by those Mexican citizens similar to the presidential candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador, a member of the Democratic Revolution Party and proclaimed Legitimate President of Mexico following the fought presidential elections of 2006 in which Felipe de Jesus Calderón Hinojosa, candidate by the National Action Party, was declared winner of them, by a narrow margin of difference.

López Obrador's supporters who militate in the so-called Pacific Civil Resistance consider Felipe Calderón's triumph to be due to electoral fraud machined by Mexican conservative groups similar to US foreign policy, against the social democratic project of Excl.
