Marco Antonio Nacif Salinas

Marco Antonio Nacif Salinas (June 9, 1966, La Paz † 2007, road to Yungas), was a Bolivian singer, songwriter and percussionist ex-vocalist of the folkloric group Illimani. He began his career with this band in the early 1990s, when leading led the group to success thanks to his talent performing a series of concert tours inside and outside of Bolivia. In 1994, Marco Antonio separates from this group to become known as a soloist. Its first single or professional cut that launched was the musical theme "Oh Susi", released in 1995 although adopting another musical style like the genre pop. After many years out of music, he suffered an automobile accident that ended his life, when at 15:00 in the vehicle traveling to the Yungas he crashed. For even so, he is one of the most remembered artists mainly by the public that followed the group Illimani in the voice of who was its main vocalist.
