Karsten Linke began his professional career at the Westfalen-Blatt Bielefeld. At the beginning of the 1990s he completed an internship at SAT.1 Hamburg. In the mid-1990s, he became editor of the sports editorial team of SAT.1 in Hamburg and Berlin. He commented on tennis and golf as well as interviews with the athletes. But he was also to be heard with the private person in football. In 1996, Linke switched to Eurosport. There he was mainly used in tennis. He commented on the most important tournaments in the Tenniscalender. Also hockey was commented by the left.

In the year 2009, Linke worked for the Internet portal (GIP). At the internet platforms tennislive.tv and spobox.tv he commented on many events around tennis and volleyball. Also on the TV partners of the GIP, Sportdigital.tv and Anixe HD, was left to be heard. At sportdigital.tv, Linke currently comments on Hockey and, above all, on football.
