Palace of Camposagrado.

The Camposagrado Palace is a Spanish urban palace located in the Asturian city of Oviedo. It is a baroque-style palace with central courtyard. The building dates back to the middle of the 18th century and was built on the orders of the III Marquis of Camposagrado, José Manuel Bernaldo de Quirós y Mariño de Lobera, by the architects Pedro Fernández Lorenzana and Domingo Suárez Solar.

Although known as Palacio de Camposagrado, it is little representative of that title nobiliario. Who commissioned the construction starts using the last nine years of his life. His children are not born in him. And his grandson, the fifth Marquis of Camposagrado, the only one born in him, married and lived in Barcelona where he is considered a proman of the city, dying without descendants.

The building began in 1728 by Francisco de la Riba and was completed in 1757 by Pedro Antonio Menéndez, who mainly contributed the style that makes it unique. The intervention of several architects supposes different styles in the floors of the facade. On the one hand, the lower is more baroque, with the door framed in a molding with ears. The upper floor is more classic and sober, articulated with attached pilasters. It has blocks cushioned in the angles. It is of rectangular plant and is articulated around a central patio. Its access is practiced through two facades: one of them in front of the palace of Valdecarzana, by the street of San Juan, and the other by the place of Porlier. From both entrance doors, there are ladder branches to access the upper floor. It suffered fire in 1934, during the revolution, reason why it had to be rehabilitated, being declared historical historical monument in 1943.

It currently houses the High Court of Justice of Asturias.
