Maria Starovská


Mária Starovská (born Haščíková, born March 2, 1959) is a former Slovakian long-distance runner who started for Czechoslovakia and later for Slovakia.

In 1988 she became national champion over 10,000 m and 1991 in the marathon.

In 1989 and 1992 she won the Tiberias-Marathon and in 1991 the Košice-Marathon. At the cross-country world championships 1990 she came to the 63rd place. In 1992 she won the Barcelona Marathon and the Berliner Halbmarathon.
