Uncle Aloys affair


The Uncle Aloys affair is one of the scandals in the run-up to the Spiegel affair surrounding the then Defense Minister Franz Josef Strauss. The nominal uncle of Strauss's wife Marianne, Aloys Brandenstein, has been given commissions in armaments business and thus become a millionaire.
