The Masies of Sant Amanç is a dispersed neighborhood or population center that is located south of the town center of Anglés (region of the Selva, province of Gerona, Catalonia). This neighborhood consists of a group of scattered farms located on the slopes of the Sierra de Santa Bárbara, in the last foothills of the Guilleries. It owes its name to the hermitage of Sant Amanç, located in the center of the same neighborhood, and mentioned for the first time the year 1019 as Sancti Amancii Anglensis. Most of the farms that make up the neighborhood are abandoned (like Can Murtra and Can Garriga), although some are currently in rehabilitation (Can Camps and Can Manyans, among others) and others are still inhabited (Can Comarodona, Can Soldat and Can Migdiada).
