Ichabodcraniosaurus

"Ichabodcraniosaurus" ("Ichabod Crane lizard") is the informal name given to a dinosaur dinosaur genus dromeosáurido that lived at the end of the Cretaceous period, 75 million years ago in Campaniense. Found in the Dixochta Formation, Flaming Cliffs, Bayn Dzak, Mongolia. The remains consist of a skeleton of a velociraptorino without head (IGM 100/980), from which comes its name that refers to Ichabod Crane, personage of the history of Washington Irving, the legend of Sleepy Hollow, where it was persecuted by a rider without head. No official description, no species, and was first mentioned by Novacek in 1996.
