Árd Carna (Titularbistum)

Árd Carna (today Ard Carne, Ardcarne) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church.

It goes back to a bishop's residence, located in the west of Ireland, in the village of Ardcarne in the county of Roscommon, which arose in today's Diocese of Elphin. The only known bishop of the ancient bishopric is Saint Beaidh, who died in 523 and is mentioned in the annals of the four masters. Edit source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext
