Kryogene (Physiology)

Endogenous cryogens are called cytokines or hormones in the physiology, which act on the thermoregulation in the sense of a temperature lowering of the body core temperature. A subgroup of these are endogenous antipyretics, which can have a lowering effect on the body's core temperature only in the context of a fever reaction, thus limiting a fever reaction. These include interleukin-10, vasopressin, melanocyte-stimulating hormone and glucocorticoids, as well as the pyrogenic tumor necrosis factor in some conditions. Edit source text
