Mark Northover fell by his characteristic short stature (size: 1.27 m). He was particularly known in 1988 for his role as Burglekutt in George Lucas fantasy film Willow. He played another memorable role in 1990 as Alvy from Richard Stanley's science fiction film M.A.R.K. 13 - Hardware. He had a cameo appearance in the music video of walking in my shoes by the English band Depeche Mode.
Mark Northover died ten weeks after his 54th birthday at a heart attack in Upton (Dorset), England. He left his wife Patsy Northover and his homonymous son Mark Northover.
