The Aegis is a local newspaper of Harford County, Maryland, United States. The Aegis began to be published in 1856 under the name The Southern Aegis. The only printing office is held at its base in Bel Air and is published twice a week. For more than 150 years The Aegis has been covering the area and providing coverage to citizens covering all corners of the county. High school sports, community events, and local government news are just a few of the topics featured in the publication.
