Wildstrubelmassiv

Wildstrubel and Grossstrubel

The Wildstrubel Massif is a mountain massif in the western Bernese Alps, which is partly strongly glaciated. It stretches to the north of Adelboden and Lenk to the Rhone Valley in the south, 65% of which is on Bernese soil, the rest being the Valais.

The Wildstrubel (3243 m above sea level), the Lenkerstrubel and the Grossstrubel (3244 m asl) take the largest part of the Wildstrubel massif. Further parts of the Wildstrubelmassiv stand on the Glacier de la Plaine Morte and on further peaks such as the Mont Bonvin (2995 m above sea level). To the north east of the Wildstrubelmassiv is the wage group, west of the Rawilpass, which separates the Wildstrubel massiv from the Wildhornmassiv and the southern ski resort Crans-Montana.
