Ricardo Pau-Llosa


Ricardo Pau-Llosa (* May 17, 1954, Havana, Cuba, has lived in the United States since 1960). Writer, poet and critic of Cuban-American art, one of the pioneers of Latin American visual arts criticism in the United States and Europe. He immigrated to Miami after the Cuban Revolution, where he graduated from the Bethlehem Jesuit Preparatory High School, pursuing studies at various American universities such as Florida International University (BA, 1974), Florida Atlantic University (MA, 1976), and the University of Florida (1978-1981).
