FERNANDO MAGÁN PINEÑO

He is a lawyer, who has joined his professional practice in doctoral courses at the Faculty of Law of the University of Toledo (UCML), also in training courses for aid to refugees and in DD.HH .; has promoted initiatives for the return to the Spanish archives of ministerial public documents held by private hands (Serrano Suñer case); has intervened before institutional and judicial bodies for the legal exhumation of the disappeared Republicans during the Civil War, and is a student of the political legal formation of the Franco dictatorship and of the repression exercised.

He is the son of a Republican lieutenant reprised by Franco's fascist dictatorship, married and father of four children.

In the professional exercise, it is important to point out many long-term actions before all Spanish and Community courts regarding the outsourcing of internal funds accumulated in financial institutions in favor of their workers.

Fernando Magàn, in addition to being the promoter and initiator, contributed to the drafting of the bill approved on June 18, 2004 by the Parliament of Catalonia. This proposal was submitted by Manuel Perona, president of ARMHC to the parliamentary groups of the current government of the Generalitat of Catalonia.
