Spanish Federation of Blood Donors

The Spanish Federation of Blood Donors is formed by Associations or Brotherhoods of Blood Donors that collaborate with the Blood Banks of Hospitals or Transfusion Centers. Its purpose is the promotion and public awareness of the altruistic and regular donation of blood and plasma. Spanish Red Cross (in its hemodonation section) and the Armed Forces are also institutional partners of the Spanish Federation of Blood Donors. The Spanish Federation coordinates, homologates criteria, advises, makes possible exchanges of experiences between the partner organizations, protects the rights of the donors as individuals and as components of an organized collective, it is interlocutor in matter of [uuaa monkeys] before the Ministry of Health and Consumption, represents the Blood Donors in the National Hemotherapy Commission and represents Spain in the World Organization of Blood Donors. From its beginning to the present, it is presided over by its founder, Martin Manceñido.
