Lieselotte Remané (* 1914; † 30 June 2002) was a German journalist and translator. It was up to the middle of the 1950s, when it was released for political reasons, editorial staff of the Berlin newspaper.
Lieselotte Remané translated Russian books and Russian children's books. The first German translation of Prokofiev's musical fairytale Peter and the wolf comes from her pen. Lieselotte Remané was involved in the revision of the 1916 Eugene Onegin translation by Theodor Commichau, published by Berliner Aufbau-Verlag. She was married to Martin Remané, with whom she worked closely with her translations, especially with poetry and lyrical texts. Translations (selection) Edit source text
