Leopoldo Rabate Estopier


Leopoldo Rabatté Estopier was a Mexican military man who participated in the Mexican Revolution. He was born in Oaxaca, Oaxaca, on May 24, 1894. He studied in Jalapa (Veracruz). In 1913 he joined the constitutionalist movement and then joined the forces commanded by General Manuel Peláez in Huasteca Veracruz, fighting the Carrancistas. He obtained the rank of general. He recognized the government in 1920, managing some garrisons and being Chief of Police in Orizaba. In 1925 he was awarded the rank of brigadier general and was appointed Head of military operations in the state of Morelos. Bibliography
