Gaadangiin Altanchujag


Gaadangiin Altanchujag (March 15, 1948, Mongolian Гаадангийн Алтанхуяг) is a contemporary Mongolian composer and horse head violin player.

Altanchujag was born in Ulaanbaatar, and grew up in the Erdenedalai Sum in the Dund-Gobi-Aimag. He studied at the Bulgarian State Conservatory and attended a teacher training at the College of Music and Dance (Хөгжим Бүжгийн Дунд Сургууль, УБДС) in Ulaanbaatar. After that, he taught at the College of Music and Dance and worked as a music editor in the editorial committee for radio and television. He composed for the singing and dancing ensemble of the army and worked as an instructor for the equestrian ensemble of the State Philharmonic.
