Bela-Szőkefalvi Great Medaille

The Bolyai Institute of the University of Sciences Szeged has been awarding the Béla Szőkefalvi-Nagy medal for Béla Szőkefalvi-Nagy since 2000 for outstanding works published in Acta Scientiarum Mathematicarum. Szőkefalvi-Nagy was the chief editor of the Acta Scientiarum Mathematicarum from 1946 to 1981. His daughter Erzsébet Szőkefalvi-Nagy donated the medal in 1999.

The medal is silver and has a diameter of 42.5 millimeters. On the front is a portrait of Béla Szőkefalvi-Nagy and on the back the name of the prize-winner, framed by the lettering, Acta Scientiarum Mathematicarum. Edit the source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext
