The European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA) is the continental umbrella association of key educators in Europe and serves the educational, scientific and artistic promotion of the piano playing.

The EPTA was founded in 1978 by Carola Grindea in London, where the headquarters are located. Today there are sections in almost all European countries; associated organizations in Brazil, Canada, India, Argentina and Chile. President of the EPTA, the President of the EPTA is changing countrywide (analogous to the EU), Vice-Presidents are all other section presidents at the same time.
