The Saga of Finnboga ramma or Finnboga sögu hins ramma (ie Saga of Finnbogi the Forzudo) is one of the Icelandic sagas. It tells the life of Finnbogi sterki Ásbjörnsson (n. 972), nephew of Þorgeir Ljósvetningagoði. The story unfolds in Flatey north of the Skjálfandi bay in northern Iceland, as well as in Norway. The saga was composed towards Century XIV. Finnbogi's profile is similar to Þórðr de Saga Þórðar hreðu for his fondness for confrontations and intrepid acts, defending himself without problems against superior forces. The saga has links with the saga Vatnsdœla and counts the relations between Finnbogi and its relative Bergr the Valiant and its enemies, the children of Ingimundur Þorsteinsson.

Each saga favors its own heroes, and significant inconsistencies between the two stories are attributed to the influence of oral tradition. Translation and Localization Bibliography
