The academy opened in August 2009 includes an orchestra hall (360 m²), a chamber music room (160 m²), a rhythm room (100 m²), a percussion studio (68 m²), a teaching studio (132 m²) and three seminar rooms 50-65 m²).
The orchestra has four wings, four pianos, an extensive orchestral instrument, percussion, Mallets Percussion, Orff instruments, electronics and equipment for bands.
Recordings from all the rooms of the Academy can be made from the professional recording studio. There are public address systems, stage lighting, conference technology, large projectors, flipcharts and whiteboards.
The same building complex also houses the youth hostel building of the town of Wolfenbüttel. It offers 129 beds in single to four-bed rooms, a dining room with kitchen, a cafeteria, seminar and leisure rooms.
Since July 2012 there are further chamber music, choral and band sample rooms as well as the offices of the academy staff at the Villa Seeliger in the Seeliger-Park adjacent to the academy. The building has been redeveloped as a historic monument. Weblink Edit source text
