Škoda 1201


The Škoda 1201 was a car model produced by Czech automaker Škoda at its Mladá Boleslav plant between 1955 and 1961.

The model appeared as successor to the Skoda 1200, from which inherited its body of pontoon format. They were produced versions saloon and familiar, as well as a model van. Technical characteristics

The vehicle was powered by an OHV 4-cylinder engine and 1,221 cc. cooled by water, producing a power of 33 hp at 4,200 rpm. It had a manual gearbox of four speeds, rear traction and reached a top speed of 90 km / h.

Its production ceased in 1961 after having produced 70,000 units, being replaced by Škoda 1202.
