Poly-X-Syndrom
Poly-X syndrome (Superfemale syndrome) is a genommutation in humans. There are three (triple X syndromes) to eight in the chromosome set of cells instead of two X chromosomes.
Synonyme: Penta-X; Pentasomie X; Syndrome 49,XXXXX
The frequency of such mutation is 1: 1000. Basically, people with a poly-X syndrome are viable. The more X-chromosomes present in the genetic material, the more strongly a cognitive disability is pronounced. Edit the source text Single-level Edit source text
