Pakul
Artisan, manufacturer of pakules.
The pakul is a flexible and rounded Afghan male hat, usually made of wool and a variety of earthy colors: coffee, black, gray, etc. Before being accommodated, it looks like a "bag" with a convex bottom. Who uses it, folds it by the ends almost to the top, forming a dense band that later adapts on the head like a beret or cap. An alternative spelling is pakol. The pakul has gained some attention in the West since the Afghan Civil War.
Many men from southeastern Afghanistan and surrounding areas use the pakul as an addition to the Sunni (cushion-like) prayers, touching the ground repeatedly.
