Josep Lletget


Josep Lletget i Sardà (Reus,? - Barcelona, ​​1919) was a journalist and politician from Catalonia. He lived for many years in London, where he took over a Bilbaino banker who intervened in the construction of the railway from Gerona to Olot in 1895. Eloquent speaker, he wrote articles in La Publicidad and was elected Congressman by the Federal Republican Democratic Party in the electoral district of La Bisbal in the general elections of 1899, and by the Republican Union in the district of San Feliu de Llobregat in the elections of 1903. Subsequently it was correspondent of war in World War I. He died during the Spanish flu epidemic that struck Barcelona between 1918 and 1919.
